{"id":24,"date":"2012-08-25T08:39:19","date_gmt":"2012-08-25T15:39:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/windowonyourpast.com\/site\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2023-09-15T20:23:21","modified_gmt":"2023-09-16T03:23:21","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/windowonyourpast.com\/site\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the most intriguing things about studying history is that there is always the adventure of visiting places where history happened, more details to discover, and more evidence to gather to prove that what you learn is actually true.\u00a0 Curiosity about a minor detail, fascination with the romantic stories set in a particular place or time, or even questions about your ancestors can open a \u201cwindow on your past\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many of the themes posted on this website evolved from such feelings.\u00a0 It is hoped the reader will either find answers to questions or models for making one\u2019s own discoveries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an educator, my life\u2019s mission is to stimulate curiosity about the past and educate the general public using primary source documents.\u00a0 In my quest for uncovering the woman\u2019s side of history&#8211;
